New engines and new range of machines for Carraro Tractors at EIMA2016

As part of the ongoing expansion of its product range, which was met with considerable interest last year at the Agrilevante event, Carraro is introducing a number of other important models to its series of specialised tractors, which currently consists of six models with 6 base configurations.

EIMA2016 has been selected by the brand as the perfect occasion on which to display four new tractor models, each conceived on the basis of suggestions received from users and farmers, rendering these models the perfect solution for meeting the specific requirements of operators working in in vineyards and orchards.

Taking centre stage once again will be the FB (Frutteto Basso) model, a best seller for Carraro Tractors - the ideal solution for the many farmers who work in canopy vineyards, greenhouses, hazel, olive and orange groves, with a maximum hood height of just 1,200 mm.

At EIMA2016, visitors will also be given the opportunity to climb aboard this tractor, for a truly "immersive" driving experience... but for now, we can't reveal any more.

The brand-new VLB (Vigneto Largo Basso),  another "low" profile tractor, will also be presented at EIMA, with its special Low Profile cab; this low-profile machine is designed for working under canopies, and has a minimum overall width of 1350 mm. Like the FB model, this machine combines compact height and power with an overall width that meets the needs of increasingly-specialised agricultural applications - it is a tractor designed for specialists. The low cab version is ideal for operators who need to carry out "under-canopy" work, and is characterised by a particular focus on the health and driving comfort of the operator.

For Carraro Tractors, the flagship machine at EIMA2016 is set to be the VL (Vigneto Largo), a tractor dedicated to high-density espalier crops,  with an overall width of less than 1400 mm and cab interior measuring 1010 mm in width. This will be the first Carraro tractor to be introduced under the Stage IIIB standard, and is equipped with a 105 hp FPT engine and a Carraro 24 + 12 speed gearbox with electro-hydraulic inverter. Furthermore, this tractor can be driven at half-speed when under load, and comes with electro-hydraulically operated lift and distributors. Courtesy of the new common rail engine, the entire IIIB range will boast improved and increased distribution and optimisation of torque and power curves, making this a series of machines that is more efficient than ever.

Finally, EIMA2016 will also serve as the ideal occasion on which to officially present the new K Series by Carraro Tractors for the first time - a range of compact tractors with engines from 35 to 55 hp, the fruit of a successful partnership with Korean manufacturer Kukje Machinery Co. Ltd., which enables Carraro Tractors to offer operators a series of exceptional technical characteristics, with a particular focus on engine and hydraulic systems performance.
